The Role We are looking for a driven and energetic Business Development Manager to join our team in a role focused primarily on new business generation, alongside growing existing customer accounts. This is roughly a 70/30 split between winning new customers and developing current accounts. Youll be responsible for identifying opportunities, building relationships, managing inbound enquiries, and converting opportunities into long-term business.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys opening doors, building rapport, and closing deals while working within a supportive and ambitious team environment. Unlike many sales roles, this is not purely a cold-start position. Youll benefit from inbound leads, established accounts, and a well-respected brand within the market giving you a strong platform to succeed.

Key Responsibilities Generate new business opportunities through proactive outbound sales activity Build and manage long-term customer relationships Grow revenue across existing accounts through upselling and account development Handle inbound enquiries and convert opportunities into sales Maintain and manage pipeline activity through CRM systems (ideally Hub Spot) Work closely with internal teams to deliver excellent customer service Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs

What Were Looking For Were looking for someone with a real passion for sales and the energy to help drive the business forward. Have proven sales experience within a BDM, Sales Executive, or Account Management role Be confident winning new business and closing deals Have strong relationship-building and communication skills Be proactive, commercially aware, and target-driven Bring positivity, enthusiasm, and energy to the sales floor Be organised and comfortable managing pipelines through CRM systems Ideally have experience within construction, tool hire, container sales, or a related industry Ideally have experience using Hub Spot CRM
