We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to lead the charge in growing our presence in the Out of Home (OOH) channel, representing a leading confectionery brand. This is a rare chance to own a blank canvas territory – bringing energy, initiative, and commercial drive to build success from scratch.
What you’ll be doing- Identifying and securing new business opportunities across OOH sectors: leisure, healthcare, education, workplace, and defence sites
- Visiting sites such as soft play centres, theme parks, universities, canteens and contract caterers to pitch and activate opportunities
- Influencing decision‑makers with range advice, merchandising support and display solutions (counter top units, POS)
- Supporting product launches, sampling and seasonal activations (e.g. Freshers events)
- Using data and insight to advise on visibility, availability, and points of interruption
- Managing your diary effectively to balance prospecting, meetings, and activations
- Recording activity via tablet and keeping organised client records (Excel/spreadsheets)
- £27,000 to £30,000 per annum + up to 20% bonus (£32-36k OTE) + company car

- A self‑starter with resilience and tenacity, confident cold‑calling and sourcing new business
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time, contacts, and pipeline development
- Proven sales experience with success in new business wins (OOH/Food service experience a plus)
- Confidence with digital tools – Google Sheets, email, tablets, reporting systems
- Full UK manual driving licence for at least one year
