Commercial Account Handler – Howden Consumer & Local Commercial team

We are seeking a Commercial Account Handler to build rapport with clients ranging from sole traders to CEOs, working closely with the Branch Manager to achieve business objectives.

• Review client documentation thoroughly to support the quoting process.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and external contacts.
• Assist Commercial Account Executives in achieving high renewal retention and exceeding customer expectations while meeting FCA requirements.
• Process data promptly and accurately on relevant systems to support client service and internal processes.
• Collaborate with the Branch Manager to meet business objectives.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
• Motivation to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Relevant experience or willingness to pursue professional qualifications in commercial insurance.
