We’re looking for an Assistant Field Technician to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team based in Kings Lynn working on the Anglian Water Alliance. The water industry is an exciting and vital sector as we enter the new five-year ) AMP8 regulatory period. The role is part of the IMRDS alliance (Integrated Maintenance, Repair and Development Services), which maintains the water supply systems, responds to emergencies such as water bursts, and develops new ways to better service customers.
What You Will DoAs an Assistant Field Technician, you’ll be working within the leakage team. The team uses specialized equipment to listen underground for water leaks.
- Deploy water leakage equipment to listen underground and detect leakage noises from pipes so that data can be used to plan works across the region.
- Read and interpret water maps and transfer data to your tablets.
- Interact with customers on a daily basis.
No experience required – we will provide full training. You must hold a full driving licence. We will provide nationally recognized training such as EUSR water hygiene, blue card, street works and manual handling training certifications to enable you to successfully carry out the role.
