Alecto Recruitment Ltd currently have an excellent opportunity for a qualified and experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a local and well‑established heating contractor on an employed, full‑time and PAYE basis.

Our client offers both domestic and commercial heating services and is Gas Safe and OFTEC registered.

Working as a mobile gas engineer, you'll be responsible for working locally to Ipswich and Suffolk. Areas will include roughly a 15‑20 mile radius, therefore places such as Ipswich, Colchester, Sudbury, Hadleigh etc. Responsible for mainly service, maintenance and breakdown works on domestic and commercial gas, heating and boiler systems. Potentially some minor installation work. Working in a range of commercial premises from schools, care homes, office blocks, retail units etc.

• Previous experience as a domestic and commercial gas engineer.
• Hold relevant ACS Commercial Gas tickets such as (COCN1 or CODNCO1 Changeover, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1, TPCP1a).
• Must live within a 20 mile radius of Ipswich / Suffolk.
• Training and development provided.
• Full UK driving licence.
