Project Lead – Violence Against Women and Girls

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate projects that strengthen support services
• Develop safe accommodation options
• Improve outcomes for those affected by domestic abuse
• Work closely with colleagues, partners and commissioned providers across health, policing, safeguarding and voluntary sector organisations
• Turn strategy into action
• Help shape future service design, ensuring the voices of victim‑survivors are at the heart of our work
• Drive meaningful change in an area of national priority

• A degree‑level qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant field
• Strong understanding of public health approaches and evidence‑based practice
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to different audiences
• Proven experience in project management and delivering successful outcomes
• Experience working collaboratively across organisations and building strong partnerships
• Confidence in influencing, negotiating and working within a political environment
• The ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to change
• A proactive, motivated and flexible approach to work
