Lifeguard

We are seeking a qualified and safety-focused Lifeguard to join Europe’s leading premium health and wellness group. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and well-managed pool environment while supporting an excellent experience for all members.

With over 180 indoor and outdoor pools across our clubs, Lifeguards are essential to ensuring poolside safety, compliance with health and safety standards, and day-to-day operational excellence.

• Actively monitor pool and surrounding areas to ensure member safety at all times
• Enforce pool safety rules and respond appropriately to emergencies
• Conduct routine water quality testing in line with company procedures
• Maintain accurate safety, testing, and incident documentation
• Ensure pool areas remain clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety requirements
• Provide a professional, friendly, and supportive service to members
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to uphold safety and service standards

The successful candidate will:

• Hold a valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of health and safety practices
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Be attentive, responsible, and able to remain calm under pressure
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Be legally authorised to work in the United Kingdom
