Trainee Transport Planner

Time Appointments are currently recruiting on behalf of a growing business based in Ipswich, who are currently recruiting for a Trainee Transport Planner. • Previous experience in Transport and Logistics, with exposure to containers, preferred but not essential
• Great work ethic, along with a genuine interest in building a career within the industry
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Enthusiastic attitude to be welcomed into a fast-paced operations environment.
• Self-motivated and goal oriented

• Assist with the planning and coordination of container routes and schedules
• Monitor daily transport operations to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
• Support drivers with route information, delivery instructions, and issue resolution
• Help ensure compliance with transport legislation, including drivers’ hours and tachograph regulations
• Maintain accurate transport records and documentation
• Liaise with customers, drivers, and internal departments regarding delivery updates
