Trainee Freight Forwarder

Trainee Freight Forwarder Our client, a freight forwarder is looking for a Trainee Freight Forwarder to join their office in Ipswich. We are looking for someone who wants to build a career in logistics, gaining hands-on experience in operations, customer service, and international freight movements. Assist with the coordination of freight movements by road, sea, and air. Support senior freight forwarders with day-to-day shipment operations.

Prepare and process shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, customs paperwork, and transport instructions. Liaise with customers, carriers, hauliers, shipping lines, and overseas agents. Track shipments and provide status updates to customers. Ensure all jobs are completed accurately and within agreed time frames.
