Class 2 HGV Driver – Temporary to Permanent (
Location:
Ipswich). Starting ASAP.
Basic: £14/hr overtime after 37 hours per week: £16.50. Guaranteed per day. 28 days holiday prorated on PAYE. Upskilling to HGV, ADR, and HIAB after satisfactory probation period. Referral bonus.
Responsibilities- Deliver engineering products across the East of England, including M25 areas.
- Operate a curtain‑sided van or Class 2 HGV vehicle.
- Load and unload goods, securing loads with ratchet straps.
- Work Monday to Friday, typically starting at 8 am; shifts usually 7–10 hours long.
- Complete overtime tasks after 37 hours per week.
- Full UK manual licence.
- Class 2 HGV (Cat C) entitlement.
- Current CPC & Digicard.
- Experience with loading and unloading using ratchet straps.
- No more than 6 effective penalty points.
- No DG, DD or IN endorsements.
