Class 1 HGV Driver – Live Poultry Deliveries

Location: Gainsborough DN21

Schedule: Sunday – Thursday, Nights Out Required

Contract: Temp-to-Perm | Excellent Benefits

Day Rate (06:00–19:00): £14.31 per hour (£16.04 with holiday pay)

Night Rate (19:00–06:00): £17.89 per hour (£20.05 with holiday pay)

Overtime: Double time for overtime shifts worked on Saturdays

• Class 1 driving, delivering live poultry to farms and processing sites
• Afternoon to evening start times, Sunday to Thursday
• Nights out required (potentially all week)
• Full training and Moffett certification provided
• Responsibility for animal welfare and biosecurity standards
• Use of modern, well-maintained vehicles and equipment
• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
• Willingness to complete Moffett training (paid allowance once qualified)
• Ability to handle livestock safely and compassionately
