Forklift Driver, SPIDER

Forklift Driver & Warehouse Operative – an independent, privately owned logistics business headquartered in Ipswich is seeking a full‑time, permanent forklift operator and warehouse operative.

• Competitive salary: £29,120 – £35,000 per annum (depending on overtime)
• 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays

• Operate forklift and perform manual handling, including container handballing
• Pick, pack, and track inventory while ensuring safe cargo loading and unloading
• Maintain accurate stock levels and support goods in and goods out processes
• Keep the warehouse and yard clean, tidy, and safe at all times
• Support the wider pallet network team during peak periods

Previous experience in a warehouse environment, holding a valid Counterbalance (1.8 T) forklift licence. A Reach truck licence is advantageous. Ideal candidates may also have supervisory or team‑leader experience, be comfortable in fast‑paced environments, have good communication skills, and can multitask and follow safety procedures.

• Experience with ETSF/high sortation unpacking
• Unloading cars from containers; valid car licence and confidence using power tools
• Operation of a Reach Truck
