Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 5:00pm (30-minute unpaid lunch) Permanent role Overtime Available

The Role Are you a Class 1 Driver looking for a position that offers more variety than a traditional driving role? We're seeking a reliable and motivated HGV Class 1 Driver / Commercial Vehicle MOT Presenter to support a busy commercial vehicle workshop. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys being involved in the day-to-day operation of a workshop environment rather than spending all week on the road.

This role combines vehicle movements, MOT presentation, brake testing and workshop support, making it ideal for someone who wants a hands-on position with plenty of variety.

Key Responsibilities Present trucks and trailers for MOT testing Manage vehicle movements through the MOT lane to ensure an efficient workflow Carry out brake testing on commercial vehicles Collect and deliver trucks and trailers to local customers Load and unload vehicles when required Liaise with workshop staff and customers professionally Maintain high standards of health & safety and vehicle compliance Support the wider workshop operation as required What We're Looking For Essential Requirements Valid Class 1 (Category CE) HGV Licence Strong awareness of vehicle safety and road transport regulations Reliable, professional and self-motivated approach Good communication skills and customer-facing experience Ability to work independently and as part of a team Desirable Previous experience working within a commercial vehicle workshop, transport operation or fleet environment
