We are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a company based in Ipswich who are looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager to join their team. You will be responsible for the smooth running of the daily warehouse operations.
Key Duties:- Supervised warehouse staff, delegated tasks, and monitored performance.
- Managed daily warehouse operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
- Oversaw container palletising, racking, picking, and loading activities.
- Ensured goods were handled, stored, and dispatched safely and efficiently.
- Maintained accurate warehouse records and documentation.
- Monitored stock movement and maintained effective warehouse organisation.
- Enforced health and safety procedures and ensured compliance at all times.
- Supported HR-related matters including attendance management, training, performance, and disciplinary procedures.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong leadership skills.
- Previous warehouse experience.
- Ability to manage and lead people.
- Forklift experience or license would be advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and problem solving.
- Basic HR knowledge.
