Warehouse Operative – Container Loading & Unloading – We’re currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives with our client based in Ipswich, Suffolk (IP3 area).

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to build a long-term career within a busy warehouse and distribution environment. The role will initially be a temporary position for up to 12 weeks and for the right candidates will go permanent!

About the Role:

You will be working as part of a busy warehouse team, assisting with container loading and unloading, picking and packing orders, moving stock and preparing goods for distribution. This is a physically demanding role requiring a good level of fitness, a strong work ethic and the ability to work king hours are nights, 12:30am / midnight – 8:30am. The pay rate is £13.50 per hour.

Requirements:

Previous warehouse, loading/unloading, picking/packing or logistics experience would be an advantage
Good level of physical fitness due to the manual nature of the role
Comfortable with repetitive lifting and manual handling
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Good attention to detail
Good communication skills
Flexibility to work a variety of shift patterns would be an advantage
Own transport may be required depending on the shift pattern and location
