Sapphire is looking for a reliable and detail‑focused Stores Person to take ownership of its site‑based stores in Ipswich.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, takes pride in keeping things organised and understands how important accurate stock management is to a busy engineering and service team.

You'll play a key role in making sure engineers have the parts, materials and equipment they need to get the job done.

• Manage the day‑to‑day running of the stores, keeping everything organised, safe and secure.
• Receive, check and book in deliveries, ensuring orders are accurate.
• Pick, issue and record parts and materials for engineers and installation projects.
• Carry out regular stock checks, investigate discrepancies and maintain accurate records using Job Logic.
• Monitor and replenish engineers' van stocks to keep them ready for work.
• Help plan and coordinate materials for larger installation projects, working closely with procurement.
• Ensure hazardous materials are stored and handled safely in line with COSHH and DSEAR requirements.
• Maintain compliance records and produce stock and usage reports.

• Previous experience in stores, warehousing or stock control.
• Good working knowledge of COSHH and DSEAR regulations.
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Confidence managing stock records and balancing multiple priorities.
• A practical, proactive approach and the ability to work well with others.

• Experience in HVAC, refrigeration or facilities management.
• Familiarity with Job Logic or engineers' van stock management.
• Experience coordinating parts for installation projects.
• Forklift or manual handling certification.
