Arctic Fresh Safety Coordinator

Position: Arctic Fresh Safety Coordinator Role
Become the Safety Coordinator at Arctic Fresh Projects in Iqaluit, Nunavut. This essential role is focused on cultivating a safety-first culture and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.

As a part of the team, you will directly collaborate with Penn-co Construction to implement key safety initiatives and practices. Your expertise will help manage safety compliance through routine site inspections, proactive guidance, and participation in safety incident planning. Travel may be required for inspections to remote locations throughout Nunavut.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead AFP’s safety program as per legislation

• Advocate for safety awareness and improvement

• Conduct thorough site inspections and audits

• Collaborate with team members for safety compliance

• Assist in incident investigation processes

Requirements:

• NCSO designation or equivalent

• Experience in the construction safety field

• Strong grasp of applicable safety regulations

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Competence in multitasking and prioritizing work

Drive safe practices and compliance while contributing to the success of Arctic Fresh Projects in the diverse communities of Nunavut.
