The Makerspace Lead will coordinate and deliver STEAM programming that caters to various audiences, ensuring that learning is both fun and impactful. You will lead a dedicated team, maintain a well-organized Makerspace, and explore innovative ideas that align with community needs.
Your role will involve scheduling programs and leveraging technology to enhance learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate diverse STEAM programming for all age groups
• Provide leadership and support to part-time staff
• Ensure all equipment and materials are well-maintained
• Develop effective communication with community partners
• Track and share feedback to improve programs
Requirements:
• Strong planning and coordination skills
• Clear communication, both oral and written
• Experience in building community relationships
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment
• Commitment to learning and utilizing new platforms
