Become a pivotal force in Iqaluit’s learning landscape as the Makerspace Lead with Ampere. This position emphasizes a hands-on approach to STEAM education and community engagement.

The Makerspace Lead will coordinate and deliver STEAM programming that caters to various audiences, ensuring that learning is both fun and impactful. You will lead a dedicated team, maintain a well-organized Makerspace, and explore innovative ideas that align with community needs.

Your role will involve scheduling programs and leveraging technology to enhance learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate diverse STEAM programming for all age groups

• Provide leadership and support to part-time staff

• Ensure all equipment and materials are well-maintained

• Develop effective communication with community partners

• Track and share feedback to improve programs
