Senior Engineer in Environmental Services

The position is set within the Parks Recreation and Environmental Services division, where you will play a key role in the operation of the Residuals Treatment Facility. You will lead project management efforts while ensuring regulatory compliance and safety standards in biosolid treatment practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and asset stewardship for the facility

• Manage lifecycle risks and evaluate asset conditions

• Coordinate consultants and oversee deliverable quality

• Conduct engineering feasibility studies and prepare reports

• Act as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

• At least 10 years of relevant experience

• Degree in a related engineering discipline

• Professional engineering designation (P.Eng.) or in process

• Strong skills in contract management and negotiation

• Valid BC Driver's Licence
