Junior Analyst Position in Policy and Planning

The Junior Policy Analyst will work under the Manager of Policy and Planning, contributing to the drafting of critical government documents and tracking responses. This position is perfect for someone with a passion for health legislation and policy analysis. You will engage in cross-departmental collaborations ensuring timely responses to policy inquiries while developing your understanding of ATIPP regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research health-related legislation and policy implications

• Draft reports, proposals, and Cabinet submissions

• Coordinate the process for statutory appointments

• Provide support for ATIPP requests and training

• Analyze departmental responses and prepare correspondence

Requirements:

• Completion of a diploma in a relevant field

• Two years of experience in policy analysis or public administration

• Knowledge of at least one Nunavut official language

• Understanding of Inuit culture is an asset

• Willingness to undertake ATIPP training as necessary
