Position: SERVICENOW SENIOR DEVELOPER
  • Lead development of complex Service Now features, modules, integrations, and enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain scripts, workflows, API integrations, and automation components.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and platform best practices.
  • Collaborate with architects, administrators, and analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot platform issues, performance concerns, and integration failures.
  • Support upgrade preparation including refactoring, ATF alignment, and regression mitigation.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, design specifications, and operational procedures.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to Service Now developers and specialists.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-5+ years of progressive development experience in IM/IT, with 5+ years developing on the Service Now platform.
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Service Now certifications: CSA required; CIS–ITSM, CIS–ITOM, CIS–SPM, or CAD strongly preferred.
  • ITIL certification – an asset.
  • Experience with JavaScript, REST/SOAP, Flow Designer, and Service Now scripting frameworks.
  • Advanced Service Now development skills including scripting, UI customization, Business Rules, Script Includes, ACLs, and integration development.
  • Deep understanding of Service Now data structures, table architecture, and system performance optimization.
  • Ability to design scalable and maintainable solutions aligned with enterprise architecture.
  • Experience developing scoped applications, complex workflows, and integrations.
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to mentor junior developers and enforce development standards.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while delivering high-quality outcomes.
