Servicenow Automation & Virtual Agent Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop Virtual Agent topics, conversation flows, and chatbot integrations.
• Build automations using Flow Designer, scripts, and Integration Hub actions.
• Work with business areas to identify automation opportunities and design efficient workflows.
• Maintain and optimize conversational experiences based on analytics and feedback.
• Document automation logic, flows, and operational runbooks.
• Support enhancements, testing, and upgrade readiness for automation components.

• Minimum 3-5+ years of progressive automation or application development experience, with 2+ years in Service Now.
• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Service Now certifications such as CSA, CIS–VA, CIS–Flow Designer – preferred.
• Experience with NLP, conversational design, or automation platforms – an asset.
• Proficiency developing Virtual Agent topics, conversational flows, and bot logic.
• Strong understanding of Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and automation frameworks.
• Ability to design self-service workflows that reduce manual efforts.
• Strong scripting and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into automated workflows and conversational experiences.
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.
