Join the fight for mental health as a Psychiatric Nurse in Nunavut. Full-time, permanent role focused on providing critical care for individuals with mental illness and addictions.
You will be the leading nursing professional in the community, responsible for developing care plans and crisis interventions. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development of patient care plans
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and follow-ups
• Administer and monitor patient medication
• Provide crisis intervention and support
• Mentor and guide nursing team members
Requirements:
• Degree in Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing
• At least 3 years in psychiatric nursing
• Registration eligibility with Northwest Territories’ Nursing College
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Familiarity with Inuit culture and languages preferred
