Security Officer at Nunatta Campus

Enhance safety at Nunatta Campus as a dedicated Security Officer. This role focuses on maintaining security for students, staff, and visitors while patrolling and monitoring college premises.

Reporting directly to the Manager of Security and Facility Maintenance, you will ensure a secure learning environment across all Nunatta Campus buildings. Your responsibilities include greeting visitors, monitoring access, and conducting inspections to uphold fire safety regulations. Foster a safe community by responding to security calls and enforcing campus rules effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and guide visitors entering the campus

• Monitor and authorize entry for all individuals

• Patrol premises to secure fire exit doors

• Assist with inspections for fire safety compliance

• Respond to resident calls for security assistance

Requirements:

• High school Grade 10 or equivalent education

• Minimum of 1 year in security or similar role

• Valid Class 4 driver licence required

• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check needed
