This full-time role is devoted to ensuring that the Government of Nunavut aligns its policies and practices with the needs and rights of young residents. You will be involved in advocacy, public awareness, and critical reviews to hold government accountable. Key Responsibilities:
• Advocate on behalf of youth facing challenges
• Review and respond to incidents involving youth
• Develop public education initiatives regarding youth rights
• Work with local organizations to enhance service delivery
• Promote community awareness and engagement efforts
Requirements:
• Background in social services or advocacy work
• Familiarity with youth rights and challenges
• Strong advocacy and communication abilities
• Willingness to undergo a criminal record check
• Commitment to the Inuit community and cultural values
