Cardiac Sonographer with Echocardiography Expertise

Enhance your career as a Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer in our Diagnostic Imaging Department, specializing in echocardiography and comprehensive cardiac evaluations. Your knowledge in anatomy and physiology is crucial in this role.

This position involves performing various echo cardiographic examinations including stress tests and bubble studies. You will take comprehensive measurements, review previous images for accuracy, and generate reports for interpreting physicians. Administrative duties will be part of your role to maintain departmental efficiency, while ensuring patient comfort throughout procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct echocardiography exams for diagnostic support

• Carry out TEE and stress echo assessments

• Analyze and document cardiac imaging effectively

• Educate and comfort patients during procedures

• Input data accurately and manage electronic files

Requirements:

• Accredited Cardiac Ultrasonography Program completion

• Registration eligibility with ARDMS or Sonography Canada

• Experience with echo imaging software is an asset

• Preferred experience in varied echocardiograms

• Strong previous work record and attendance
