General Manager
Location: Irmo, SC

Department: Administration
Job SummaryResponsible for managing sales and order fulfillment at the branch, developing strategic plans, overseeing P&L, budgeting, leading management teams, ensuring customer satisfaction, and controlling costs.
Key Responsibilities- Adhere to the highest standards of personal ethics and company policies.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and shared responsibility.
- Execute Pella Corporation’s three imperatives:
Market Share, Growth, Profitability, and Customer Satisfaction. - Hire, train, develop, motivate, and evaluate key managers (Sales, Operations, Finance, Installation, Service).
- Set, monitor, and communicate sales, growth, and profitability goals at segment and individual levels.
- Analyze market research, direct marketing initiatives, and recommend creative selling techniques and order fulfillment processes.
- Develop and maintain deep knowledge of Pella products, systems, and sales processes to identify and maximize growth opportunities.
- Plan, manage, and review segment budgets and monthly performance, identify successes, and submit accurate forecasts.
- Ensure accurate revenue and cost measurement, strategic pricing, and overall branch profitability.
- Advise managers on escalated customer disputes, employee issues, and operational challenges.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization.
- Coordinate communication and integration across management teams, functional areas, and corporate partners.
- Implement and enforce company and department policies and procedures.
- Attend professional seminars, workshops, and conduct ongoing learning to stay current with business trends.
- Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university; or 7–10 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
- Outstanding problem‑solving skills and responsiveness to urgent issues.
- Strategic thinker who champions change and innovation.
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn proprietary software.
- Strong business acumen.
- Ability to understand and communicate basic mathematics associated with operational costs and revenue.
