Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Install Technician to join our growing team. This role is responsible for the installation of residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, pays close attention to detail, and is committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience on every project.
What You Bring- 2+ years of experience in residential or light commercial HVAC installation (required).
- HVAC trade school certificate or equivalent experience.
- EPA Universal Certification (required).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation manuals.
- Strong understanding of HVAC system design, airflow, and duct layout.
- Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments.
- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and meet the physical demands of the job.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Install HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless systems, and ventilation components.
- Lay out, fabricate, and install ductwork and related fittings to specification.
- Perform start-up, testing, and commissioning of newly installed equipment.
- Ensure installations meet local codes, manufacturer specifications, and company standards.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas and vehicles.
- Work closely with Install Leads, Supervisors, and other team members to ensure jobs are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with homeowners or building occupants regarding system operation and maintenance.
- Complete required documentation accurately and promptly.
