Job OverviewThe Maintenance Technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.

- Maintain and repair plant manufacturing equipment using blueprints, schematics, multi-meter and other specialty tools
- Perform regular checks and maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operation
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance tasks and ensure minimal disruption to production
- Effectively communicate with service technicians and suppliers to troubleshoot equipment
- Provide support and recommendations during installations & start‑up of new equipment
- Perform basic plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work
- Document preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and other record‑keeping utilizing the Computerized Maintenance Database System
- Develop and implement improvement ideas
- Perform other miscellaneous work assignments as directed
- Diagnose and rebuild small tools & supporting equipment
- High School Diploma or equivalent;
Associate’s Degree in related field preferred - Minimum 5 years of related maintenance experience or demonstrated abilities in mechanical/electric/hydraulic systems, including troubleshooting and repair
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong commitment to safety
- Electrical knowledge of AC and DC circuits, frequency drives, soft starts, motor starters, PLCs
- Mechanical knowledge of welders, pneumatics, hydraulics, vertical saws, plasma cutters, lasers, press brakes, formers, folders, and cranes
- Strong decision‑making skills and ability to see a project through from start to finish
- Willingness to work extended hours, off‑shifts, and weekend work as needed
- Excellent verbal and written communication of technical information
- Computer skills, including MS Office programs
