We are looking for a talented Field Mechanic who has a passion for quality construction. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing all types of heavy equipment, trailers and vehicles.

• Diagnose, inspect and repair diesel engines, gasoline engines, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, electrical systems, air conditioning systems, compressors, generators, suspensions, brakes, transmissions, fuel injection systems, ignition systems and air tools.
• Replace and repair damaged components.
• Perform engine flushing/cleaning, parts lubrication, oil changes and maintenance checks on all equipment.

• Extensive (5‑8) years experience diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment (wheeled and tracked) or trucks.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics, maintenance manuals, service bulletins and diagrams.
• Ability to seek out and find minor deficiencies with fleet equipment.
• Strong welding (MIG/TIG) and fabrication skills (torches, welders, band saws, drills, etc).
• Must possess a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or the ability to obtain one.
• Ability to perform DOT Regulations.
• Good organizational and record‑keeping skills.
• Ability to travel to job sites and provide mechanical oversight to equipment on numerous projects throughout a geographical area.
• Proficient in the use of diagnostic and testing equipment.
• Customer service skills.
• High School graduate.
