Job Overview
Adhering to the Nursing and Midwifery Code of Professional Conduct at all times is essential.
The post holder will work as a member of the Outpatient Team, bringing paediatric expertise to the service and supporting other members of the team to develop knowledge and skills in support of paediatric clinics and safeguarding processes.
Travel between locations will be required; access to a car or other transport is necessary. The successful candidate may also need to work within adult clinics where needed.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical care in paediatric outpatient clinics primarily at Nene Park Outpatients, with potential shifts rotating to all outpatient areas, including Kettering General Hospital and Corby Diagnostic Centre.
- Support a range of paediatric clinics, assisting children and families throughout their outpatient journey.
- Interact with the wider team to promote paediatric skills, safeguarding procedures, and service continuity.
- Maintain mandatory training compliance and pursue professional development opportunities to meet identified objectives.
- Registered Paediatric Nurse with a minimum of one year’s relevant experience.
- Exceptional organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- A proactive approach to working within a rapidly developing service.
