Our client, based in the Louth (LN11) area, is a leading European packaging company specialising in flexible and sustainable packaging solutions for some of the world's most respected brands. They are currently recruiting for a Print Assistant to join their award-winning Print Department.

The Role As a Print Assistant, you will support the Printer in the day-to-day operation of sophisticated printing machinery, helping to produce high-quality packaging for globally recognised brands. This is an excellent opportunity to develop a long-term career within the packaging industry while learning all aspects of the printing and pre-press processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting the Printer with setting up jobs on the printing machines Carrying out quality checks throughout the production process Changing reels safely and efficiently Supporting the smooth operation of the print department to ensure production targets are met Learning all aspects of the printing and pre-press processes Following company procedures to maintain high standards of quality, safety and housekeeping Working effectively as part of a team to achieve production and quality objectives Candidate Specification:
Previous experience within a warehouse, production or manufacturing environment is desirable Strong work ethic with the drive and passion to succeed Excellent attention to detail Organised, motivated and able to work calmly and methodically Keen to learn new skills and develop within the printing and packaging industry Good teamwork and communication skills Comfortable working 12-hour rotating shifts Hours of Work: 12-hour shifts 4 on, 4 off rotating shift pattern 2 days (6:00am – 6:00pm), followed by 2 nights (6:00pm – 6:00am), then 4 days off Pay Rate: £13.41 per hour If this sounds like the role for you, apply now or contact Faye on for more information.
