Domestic Services Supervisor within our Domestic Department based at Ayrshire Central Hospital. This post is offered on a permanent basis.

17.5 hrs per week, Working Monday – Friday 4.15pm – 7.45pm

The successful applicant will be responsible for the allocation of work, daily supervision, training, and welfare of Domestic staff within Ayrshire Central Hospital Site.

Candidates will have sound knowledge of practices and procedures within a Domestic Department adhering to Control of Infection guidance. You will have the ability to communicate well with all levels of staff and previous administration experience would be an advantage. An understanding of minimum staffing levels is essential as the supervisor is responsible for providing adequate cover over the weekend. Full training will be provided.

To work in the United Kingdom, there is a legal requirement for an individual to demonstrate that they have the relevant permission to work in the country. This permission is, without exception, granted by the UK Visa and Immigrations Service. NHS Ayrshire & Arran may be able to offer visa sponsorship for certain roles, provided the post meets the minimum salary threshold and any other required criteria. When considering if a post meets the salary threshold for sponsorship, please note the salary advertised is based on a full-time contract and must be pro‑rated for part‑time positions. Sponsorship is not guaranteed and is assessed on a case‑by‑case basis following interview and at the commencement of pre‑employment checks.
