An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 5 Staff Nurse to join our Immunisation team, as part of the Children & Families Health team based at Ayrshire Central Hospital. Supporting the delivery of the routine Childhood Immunisations across the North Ayrshire Health and Social care partnership.
Hours And Shift PatternThe hours are 31.57 hours over 5 days, Monday to Friday, within the core hours of 9am to 5pm.

What You Will DoAs part of the Children's Immunisation service the post holder will work as a member of the integrated Children and Families Health Team delivering childhood immunisation programmes across North Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership.
The post holder will be responsible for promoting the health and wellbeing and provide care interventions to early years, school age children, young people and their families which reflects the Getting it Right for Every Child (GIRFEC) practice model.
You will provide high quality nursing care support and advice to children and young people, their parents/carers.
Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required To Do The Job- First level registered nurse.
- Driving Licence and Car Owner
- Experience of working with children and families
- Community experience desired
- Evidence of further professional development
- Working in Multi-disciplinary team
- High level communication ability
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential to this role.

NHS Ayrshire & Arran may be able to offer visa sponsorship for certain roles, provided the post meets the minimum salary threshold and any other required criteria. When considering if a post meets the salary threshold for sponsorship, please note the salary advertised is based on a full-time contract and must be pro-rated for part-time positions. Sponsorship is not guaranteed and is assessed on a case-by-case basis following interview and at the commencement of pre-employment checks.
