We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative and compassionate Family Wellbeing Support Worker to join our established and highly regarded early intervention service in North Ayrshire. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who enjoys working autonomously, managing their own caseload of children, young people and families, whilst also being part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will work with children and young people aged 5-18 years, alongside parents and carers, to deliver holistic, strengths-based support that promotes wellbeing, resilience and positive family relationships.
Responsibilities- Provide early intervention and family support to children, young people and their families.
- Deliver parenting interventions that strengthen family relationships and build parental confidence.
- Support children and young people with emotional regulation and wellbeing.
- Work with children and families where neurodiversity is a significant factor, helping them understand and navigate their individual needs.
- Support parents and carers to access appropriate local and national services and community supports.
- Promote holistic family wellbeing through creative and person-centred approaches.
- Manage a varied caseload while maintaining accurate records and outcome-focused practice.
- Passionate about improving outcomes for children, young people and families.
- Brings enthusiasm, creativity and a positive attitude to their work.
- Can build trusting and meaningful relationships with families from diverse backgrounds.
- Confident working independently and managing a caseload.
- Has experience of working with children, young people and families.
- Understands the challenges that can impact family wellbeing, including neurodiversity, mental health, poverty and social disadvantage.
- Has strong communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills and is committed to delivering person‑centred, strengths‑based support.
