Children and Families service In North Ayrshire is undertaking an exciting time of change, we are looking for a passionate, skilled and caring Team Manager to join us. We have redesigned our Child Protection team to ensure families are supported by one team and worker throughout the period where they require social work support. We have implemented Signs of Safety and Safe and Together and redesigned our key Children and Families paperwork utilising these models to assist practitioners to have the tools to work where at all possible in collaboration with families and their networks .
We feel this best supports change where child welfare/ Child protection worries are identified and enables workers to spend their time focused on relationships and working directly with families. As a Team Manager within the Child Protection Team you would work alongside another two Team Managers supporting a team of Children and Families staff. We would like you to have a sound knowledge and skill base in relation to understanding the complex issues that surround child protection work, have sound insight into practice standards that benefit both families and workers and be able to ensure and support qualitative practice.
We are passionate about making sure families receive the right support at the right time and that our workers get opportunity to provide effective support that improves outcomes for children. This post works over a 5 days a week.
