Skill Set Group  is seeking a mid-level Accounting Assistant to work in the Irvine, CA area. This position will provide general accounting support for a small accounting team. The chosen candidate will have accounting experience handling AP, AR, billing reconciliation & a strong customer service background. Strong computer skills, along with intermediate Excel skills are also a must. 4-year Bachelor degree is a must.

This is a 1st shift position and will be a DIRECT HIRE opportunity.

Hours
: 1st shift – 8:30AM-5:30PM

• 70% general accounting support - AP, AR, billing, reconciliation, minor payroll calculation, scanning employee files & documents in ERP system.
• 30% general office support - answering phones, customer service, front reception, etc.
• Quickbooks accounting software, Excel knowledge.
• ERP experience is a plus, they use Pro Shop.
• Detail oriented, confidentiality sensitivity, go-getter/proactive approach/demeanor, etc.
• Must be able to speak and understand English.
