Position: Sr Accountant w/ Royalties
Century Group is partnering with our manufacturing client for a diligent and detail-oriented Senior Accountant position. The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in supporting the company's financial operations by performing various accounting tasks and assisting in financial reporting processes. This position is fully onsite and offers an opportunity for growth and development within a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $100,000 to $120,000 per year.

Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end close procedures, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis as assigned by the Finance Manager.
• Develop and/or improve account reconciliations.
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Maintain fixed asset records and calculate depreciation expenses in accordance with accounting standards.
• Assist with annual lender, financial, and licensor audits, providing documentation and support as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and improve financial processes and controls.
• Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance with applicable laws and standards.
• Perform other ad-hoc accounting tasks and projects as assigned by the Finance Manager or Controller.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
• Knowledge of GAAP and familiarity with financial reporting requirements.

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA license or on CPA track.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting roles.
