Position Summary:
We’re adding an Accountant to support our growing finance and accounting team. This is a hands-on role focused on month-end, reconciliations, and internal controls. You’ll work closely with the finance team and gain exposure to sales and legal departments. This role will report to the Accounting Manager in the Finance department. While the corporate headquarters is based in Irvine, CA, you will work on site Monday through Friday together with the rest of the Finance team.
We are seeking highly skilled accountants who demonstrate curiosity, strong analytical abilities, and a self-driven mindset to continuously learn and grow.
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account adjustments.
- Prepare, organize, and analyze credit card payments.
- Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, sales operations, and audit.
- Support internal and external audit requirements by preparing audit schedules, supporting documentation, and responding to audit inquiries.
- Improve Customer A/R collections, including customer outreach and process refinement.
- Assist with cash receipts and accounts receivable, including payment application and AR aging reports.
- Perform other accounting tasks as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Moderate to strong Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with adaptability.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to meet deadlines in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented, organized, collaborative and eager to grow.
- Ability to work efficiently and multi-task by deadline in a fast-paced environment.
- 1+ years of accounting experience or Big Four experience.
- Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical ability.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Solid understanding of GAAP and SOX.
- Experience handling JEs, reconciliations, cash reconciliation, and financial analysis.
- Prior knowledge about Sage Intacct is helpful.
- Experience in semiconductor or technology industry preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and multi-task by deadline in a fast-paced environment.
