Job Summary
As a Remarketing Specialist I, you will use your analytical, communication, and time management skills while developing new ones as part of PRC’s Portfolio Management team. This role involves updating, analyzing, and preparing various reports for management and will primarily remarket Material Handling and IT equipment returning.
The Remarketing Specialist I will interface with Clients and remarketing partners to coordinate equipment returns and will collaborate with departments throughout the company including, but not limited to, Accounting, Accounts Receivable Management, Funding, Treasury and Sales.
Responsibilities- Equipment Returns
- Upon receiving a Notice of Return from Clients, provide Termination Acknowledgement and Return Material Authorization “RMA” forms to the Client.
- Coordinate return process with Client to the provided return facility and conduct inspections if deemed necessary.
- Resolve issues if Client return is not completed in a timely manner.
- Remarketing
- Maintain relationships with remarketers (wholesale, retail, auctions, etc.).
- Continue to grow remarketer database, increasing diversification.
- Negotiate with third parties for equipment and maximize every equipment sale.
- Resolve issues if the audit process is not completed in a timely manner.
- Verify audits the contract return provisions.
- Communicate all returns, damages, and chargebacks to Client and Portfolio Management.
- Monthly reporting based on remarketing activities.
- Request for 3rd party invoices.
- Close out assets and populate the closeout and return workbook.
- At the appropriate time, notify Booking team to remove returned assets from billing.
- Other tasks or projects as assigned.
- Consistently maintain asset evaluation database.
- Bilingual in Spanish/English is required for this position.
- 0-1 years Equipment leasing/financing industry experience or similar preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Positive work attitude and approach to daily tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional phone and email.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (VLOOKUP, pivots, various formulas a plus).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
- General knowledge of workflows (task-based) within a CRM.
- Salary: $25.00 - $30.00/hour
- Performance Bonus:
Eligible for a quarterly bonus of up to 10%, bringing the total compensation range to $27.50 - $33.00/hour. - Health Benefits:
