Join a community association management firm that regularly welcomes new homeowner associations, including through mergers and acquisitions. As Accounting Transition Supervisor, you’ll lead the team that makes every transition seamless
, ensuring each association’s financial records, banking, and homeowner accounts are complete and accurate from day one. It’s a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll shape the procedures and controls behind every new account, with a clear path to a permanent position
.

• Lead, train, and coach the transition team, assigning and prioritizing new account transitions to meet deadlines and serving as the escalation point for complex issues.
• Review and approve opening balances, balance forwards, and membership imports, resolving discrepancies in prior management’s financial statements, aging reports, and bank records before accounts go live.
• Oversee HOA banking setup for new associations, including operating and reserve accounts, signature cards, treasury services, and ACH.
• Direct the creation and auditing of daily and recurring ACH files, along with payment returns, chargeback research, and monthly ACH refunds.
• Partner with banks, prior management companies, vendors, and internal departments on mergers, acquisitions, and account closures while building transition procedures, checklists, and internal controls.

Required

• Ability to read and interpret association financial statements
• Hands‑on experience with HOA banking operations
• Hands‑on experience with HOA account transitions

Preferred

• Experience supporting association account mergers or acquisitions
• Experience creating and auditing ACH files
• Advanced Excel skills for formatting and analyzing financial data

• Contract‑to‑hire opportunity with conversion based on performance
• Earn $38.46/hour in a supervisory accounting role
• Consistent Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM schedule with no nights or weekends
• Lead a team and build the playbook for how new accounts are transitioned
