Tax Manager

Seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead tax compliance and advisory engagements while managing key client relationships and developing junior tax professionals. This role requires strong public accounting experience, technical tax expertise, and a client-focused approach.

• Manage a portfolio of clients and serve as a trusted tax advisor.
• Review complex federal and state tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals.
• Provide strategic tax planning and advisory support, including M&A, restructuring, and other complex tax matters.
• Lead, mentor, and develop tax professionals.
• Manage multiple engagements, deadlines, budgets, and workflow.
• Perform quality reviews and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations and professional standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance client service.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA required
• Public accounting experience with a strong focus on tax compliance and advisory services.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
• Experience managing client relationships and developing team members.
• Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Experience with professional tax software preferred.
• Must be living in the area or willing to relocate.
