Accounting Manager

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records for our Irvine, California team. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable managing bookkeeping, payroll, reconciliations, and financial reporting in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will bring strong technical accounting knowledge, hands-on Quick Books experience, and the ability to support month-end activities with precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end bookkeeping activities using Quick Books Desktop to ensure complete and accurate financial records.
• Process payroll accurately and on schedule, with experience using Paycor considered beneficial.
• Reconcile bank accounts and investigate discrepancies to maintain reliable cash reporting.
• Prepare and review balance sheet and profit and loss statements for internal financial oversight.
• Compile routine company reporting and maintain supporting documentation for accounting records.
• Handle reporting related to certified payroll, prevailing wage requirements, and workers' compensation obligations.
• Assist with month-end close tasks, including journal entries, account analysis, and general ledger review.
• Create and maintain Excel-based reports and perform financial analysis to support business decisions.
