PositionSummary
Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through networking, channel partners, and self‑generated leads. Execute aggressive prospecting strategies to gain access to key decision makers within prospective client organizations. Maintain ownership of the entire sales cycle, including post‑sale/implementation processes. Negotiate pricing and scope of service, complete required sales paperwork, and finalize terms of the client service agreement. Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast, and accomplish monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals assigned by management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Generate new business in designated territory
- Analyze, plan, and implement products and services targeting client needs
- Stay knowledgeable of new products and services, broker practices, and industry trends
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas
- Oversee renewal proposals and processes for current clients
- Prepare executive summaries for client presentations
- Schedule ongoing meetings with clients to address questions and concerns during implementation
- Collect data to provide guidance and direction on product and services, marketing, and sales and other related areas
- Develop lead generation strategies and utilize CRM (Salesforce) to track activity
- Take ownership of the accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of all services for assigned clients
- Attend monthly consulting meetings and provide training and coaching for staff
- Self‑starter with a strong work ethic
- Ability to aggressively prospect for new business

- Strong business acumen and understanding of financial concepts
- Knowledgeable in both self‑funded and fully insured products and financial arrangements
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; capable of communicating as a knowledgeable professional to carriers, members, and employers

- High School Diploma
- 2–3 years of sales experience
