About the Job:The Ecommerce Purchase Journey Senior Product Manager facilitates work on a key Ecommerce function and is responsible for the reliability and ease of our purchase funnel and payment experience. They serve as a subject matter expert for the purchase workstream, from platform integrations to localized behavior and E2E team member and customer experiences. This role will leverage a range of program and product management skillsets, applying agile methodologies to manage the sprint team’s activities and deliver the prioritized roadmap to measurable results.
The Senior Product Manager will collaborate with restaurant operations, marketing, engineering, and design to define and ship excellent products while actively mitigating risks and managing issues to ensure the release is delivered successfully. This role will report to the Ecommerce Purchase Journey Group Product Manager. With this role, the opportunities are endless. You will be an important part of the exciting transition Taco Bell is making in digitization of the business.
You’ll help Taco Bell continue to transform and innovate the Quick Service Restaurant industry and shepherd a highly strategic platform for the business.
- Support product discovery within the purchase flow, leveraging data and customer understanding to identify problems to solve and defining new capabilities to add to the product backlog.
- Manage and refine the prioritized backlog and drive cross-functional prioritizations based on strategic business impact and value, balancing immediate customer needs or pain points with long-term opportunities and cross-functional objectives and constraints.
- Deliver measured improvements to revenue and customer satisfaction through strategic objectives, vision creation, and assisting in day‑to‑day product delivery.
- Work closely with solution architects and development teams to understand the technology enablers or constraints for new product ideas; finalize product requirements to include business, customer, and technical goals and constraints.
- Organize and lead team through discovery, ideation and creative problem solving, rapid prototyping, end‑to‑end solutioning, communication planning, execution, and reporting.
- Engage and manage stakeholders; build cross‑functional partnerships to ensure that projects align with evolving technology, journeys, and organizational standards for architecture, security, and portfolio standards/methodologies.
- Deliver measured improvements to revenue and customer satisfaction through strategic objectives, vision creation, and assisting in day‑to‑day product delivery.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience.
- At least 8 years of experience building and executing a strategic roadmap of capabilities and related initiatives in areas of responsibility.
- Proficiency with Visio, JIRA/Confluence, and agile methodologies/scrum ceremonies is preferred.
