We are seeking an experienced Principal Consultant – Product Management to drive product-centric portfolio management practices, align business strategy with technology initiatives, and develop strategic product roadmaps. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in product management, portfolio strategy, market analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Drive product-centric portfolio management practices across the engagement.
- Translate business strategy and organizational objectives into clear, prioritized product roadmaps.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and market-fit assessments to identify product opportunities.
- Advise business and technology stakeholders on product management best practices, operating models, and governance frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product vision, strategy, and execution.
- Facilitate stakeholder discussions to establish priorities, resolve conflicts, and drive strategic alignment.
- Evaluate product portfolios to identify opportunities for optimization, innovation, and business value realization.
- Define product goals, success metrics, and KPIs to measure performance and business outcomes.
- Leverage product management tools such as Jira, Productboard, and similar platforms to support roadmap planning and prioritization.
- Communicate product strategy, portfolio decisions, and roadmap recommendations effectively to senior leadership.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities across business and technology initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in product management, product strategy, portfolio management, or related consulting roles.
- Strong background in product portfolio strategy, market analysis, and product lifecycle management.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into actionable product roadmaps.
- Proven experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving alignment across business and technology teams.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience with product management tools such as Jira, Productboard, or equivalent platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience establishing product management frameworks, governance processes, and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, fast-paced consulting environment.
Establish and drive product management practices to improve portfolio visibility, prioritization, and strategic alignment.
Translate business strategy, market insights, and customer needs into a clear, prioritized product roadmap.
Advise senior stakeholders on product management best practices, governance frameworks, and business-technology alignment.
