, to provide a holistic approach that supports the whole child—academically, therapeutically, and communicatively. Together, we ensure every child receives well‑rounded, individualized care across all areas of development.
Position Summary
As a Behavior Clinician at Conscious Kids, you will deliver direct behavioral intervention services under supervision, support assessment and progress tracking, and collaborate with the clinical team, families, and other stakeholders. You will play a key role in promoting behavioral, social, emotional, play, and everyday living skills in children, fostering independence and growth. This is an in‑clinic, on‑site position in Irvine, California.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy sessions in a clinic setting using discrete‑trial training (DTT), natural environment teaching, and other evidence‑based strategies
- Implement behavior intervention plans created by supervising clinicians (BCBAs)
- Collect and record accurate session data and behavior observations
Assist in skill‑building across communication, social, play, and self‑help domains - Use positive reinforcement and proactive behavior supports
- Participate in regular supervision, training and team meetings
- Maintain professionalism, client confidentiality, and ethical standards at all times
- Collaborate with a supportive, multidisciplinary team
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or GED completed
- Experience working with children
- Reliable and consistent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable engaging with young children in active, play‑based sessions
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree completed or current college student in psychology, education, child development, or a related field
- RBT certification (or willingness to complete certification with our support and guidance)
- Familiarity with ABA or behavioral strategies is a plus, but not required — we provide training
Schedule
Our clinic is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
, following a block schedule:
- Morning session: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- Lunch session (kids): 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Midday session: 12:00 PM – 2:30 PM
