Order Management Specialist, Lead (Irvine, CA)
As an Order Management Specialist Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our customer service department by providing guidance and support to Order Management Specialists while also performing as an individual contributor. You will serve as the first point of escalation for order management specialists when they encounter complex issues or require assistance in resolving customer inquiries.
Your primary objective will be to assist with these issues and perform as an independent contributor.
- Act as the initial point of contact for customer service agents seeking assistance with escalated customer inquiries or complex issues.
- Assist in resolving escalated customer issues by utilizing problem‑solving skills, product knowledge, and company policies.
- Collaborate with all other company departments to address customer concerns and improve overall customer experience.
- Monitors department queues to ensure proper coverage.
- Support managers in facilitating timely communication of issues and updates to the team.
- Addressing others by name, title, or other respectful identifier, and respecting the diversity of our work force in actions, words, and deeds.
- Committed to the protection of the environment and the health and safety of our employees, customers, and neighbors.
- Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving our Environmental Management System (EMS).
- All other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field, preferred.
- 5 years of professional management experience, preferred.
- Experience in an industrial or OEM environment, a plus.
- Proficiency with SAP, CRM systems, and other relevant tools.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Performs all operations to prescribed safety principals.
- Presents professional communication skills – verbal, written, e‑mail.
