Job Duties- Process and manage customer purchase orders and sales orders
- Utilize SAP for order management, customer service, inventory inquiries, returns, and related functions
- Monitor order fulfillment, backorders, shipments, and delivery schedules
- Coordinate with warehouse and internal teams regarding order status and shipment needs
- Respond to customer questions and provide timely updates regarding orders
- Process customer returns, cancellations, excess inventory requests, and related issues
- Handle freight and parcel claims and assist with resolving customer concerns
- Maintain accurate order and customer information in company systems
- Communicate professionally and effectively with customers, sales representatives, warehouse personnel, and other departments
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- High school diploma or GED preferred unless otherwise specified.
- Additional education, certifications, or vocational training may be beneficial depending on the position.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Commitment to quality, safety, professionalism, and dependable attendance.
- Ability to learn new processes, procedures, equipment, or software as required.
- xperience processing customer purchase orders and sales orders in a manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, or industrial environment
- Hands-on SAP experience for order entry, inventory inquiries, customer service, returns processing, and order management
- Experience managing backorders, shipment coordination, freight claims, parcel claims, returns, and customer requests
- Strong data entry, 10-key by touch, and typing skills (60-65+ WPM preferred)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
- Previous experience in a related industry or similar position is preferred.
- Experience working in fast-paced, customer-focused, manufacturing, warehouse, administrative, or professional environments is beneficial depending on the assignment.
- Relevant certifications, technical training, or specialized skills are considered an asset.
- Individuals who demonstrate adaptability, professionalism, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn are well positioned for success as a Sales Order Processor.

- Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods
- Frequent keyboarding, data entry, and phone communication

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling customer orders and documentation
