Overview
Think Academy Irvine is looking for an evaluation teacher. For this role, you will be conducting diagnostic math assessments and following up with parents. This role also serves as a training and development opportunity for future full-time content teachers.
What You Will Do- After training, conduct math diagnostic tests for students of different grade levels, explain results to parents, and recommend appropriate courses.
- Follow the campus SOP to grade, record, and archive test results.
- Support student enrollment by answering parent questions about class schedules and curriculum.
- Participate in teacher training sessions and classroom observations; provide make-up tutoring for certain grades to build experience for future teaching roles.
- Assist with and participate in other campus events as needed.
- Passionate about education and enjoys working with children, with a willingness to grow in the education field.
- Open to all majors; candidates majoring in Education, Math, Science, or Engineering are preferred. Bachelor’s or Master’s students or graduates are welcome.
- Clear logical thinking, strong communication skills, and good customer service awareness; able to communicate effectively with parents.
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred.
- Must be available at least 10–15 hours per week
. - Available and willing to work during weekday evenings and weekends.
- Hourly rate: $20–25/hour
- Outstanding performers may be promoted through the long-term development pathway (Part-time → Full-time Instructor).
